​This Privacy Policy describes how Hayley Evans,  ("I", "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to hayleyevans.com (the "Site").

We believe in doing this simply and honestly. This Site collects very little information about you, shares almost none of it, and never sells any of it. What follows explains what we do collect, how we handle it, and what rights you have.

This typically includes your name, your email address, and whatever you write to us. If you share a phone number, we receive that too.

If you subscribe to our email list, we collect your email address (and optionally your name) to send you the writing and updates you've requested.

 

Information collected automatically.

Our Site is built on Wix, which collects certain baseline information from visitors, including IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies. This data is used to keep the Site functioning, understand how it's being used, and improve the experience. You can review Wix's own privacy practices at wix.com/about/privacy.

We do not use Google Analytics or other external tracking tools on the Site.

 

Information we do not collect through the Site.

Bookings for sessions are made by direct communication (email or text), not through the Site. Payments are processed outside the Site through a separate accounting platform. Your credit card and payment information are never collected, stored, or handled by the Site itself.

 

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

4. How Long We Keep Information

Email correspondence and inquiries: retained as long as necessary to maintain our working relationship or respond to your requests, and typically not longer than needed

Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe, at which point your email address is removed from our list

Client records: retained as required for tax, legal, and business record-keeping purposes (typically seven years, per U.S. tax law)
